The team working with IM Flash Technology came to ZELUS to create a plan for off-site prefabrication of MEP materials requiring less plant downtime. They had a massive ramp up with new tool implementations, all while having a very tight timeline.
The Solution
Our team created a plan for off-site prefabrication of MEP materials that required less plant downtime. We were able to identify issues for all stakeholders in advance by using advanced clash detection between the design model and point cloud data, compressing the estimated schedule by almost a week. Additionally, the ZELUS team implemented a BIM Cave where all trades were compliant to the project plan.
