Many refer to 2020 as "the lost year" but it's also being earmarked as "The Great Digital Acceleration". Industries across nearly every vertical saw the pace of digitization accelerate three to sixfold in the span of just 12 months. Normally, this would've taken years to achieve.
This was certainly the case for the construction industry as many suddenly turned to BIM technologies and processes to manage their now-remote-teams, keep projects running efficiently from afar, and address the growing labor shortage. Now that it's evident much of this new "virtual world" is here to stay, what does the forecast look like for our industry and how will we need to adapt going forward?
